Several domestic flights were cancelled on Friday, November 17, 2017, by the airport authorities due to the Low Pressure Area (LPA) off Mindanao.

Meanwhile, the Low-Pressure Area (LPA) spotted off Mindanao is likely to intensify into a tropical depression within the day according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
In an advisory issued by the state weather bureau earlier (November 17), PAGASA noted that the LPA was spotted at the vicinity of Motong, Zamboanga del Norte(7.5N, 122.2E).
