Alex Gonzaga Clears Issue With Korean Restaurant Manager

Actress-host Alex Gonzaga clears the issue regarding the incident between her and a Korean restaurant manager which recently made a buzz online, citing she just want Filipinos to stand up against rude foreign nationals.

Last month, the 29-year-old television presenter went to the social media wherein she shared her experience when she and her friends were rudely treated by a manager of a certain Korean restaurant.

The manager from the Korean restaurant allegedly shouted at her and her friends.

Meanwhile, speaking with Philstar.com, Alex Gonzaga clarified the issue with the Korean restaurant manager.

“I did that for the waiters and for every Filipinos working not just for mean boss pero pag alam mo na hindi na tama na yung ginagawa lalo na nasa sariling bayan mo ikaw, you have to stand for yourself,” she said.

“Ginawa ko lang yun kasi parang tayo minsan may inferiority complex for other (nationality). Alam ko yung iba hindi nila gets yun lalo na yung mga nasa social media pero mostly talaga of the Filipinos are intimidated with other nationalities. Pag nandito ka sa bansa mo, gawin mo yung tama o sabihin mo,” she added.

Alex Gonzaga is a former star of Kapatid Network (TV5).

After transferring to ABS-CBN, she pursued hosting wherein she was known for hosting different shows in the network giant including The Voice Philippines, Dance Kids, Game ng Bayan and I Can Do That.
