Fans of the actor were furious at Preview after naming Cuerva as “King of the Gil,” which is the title given for Enrique.
The photo was taken during the launching of Yes Magazine’s 100 Most Beautiful Stars 2017 where newbie Gil Cuerva clinched a spot.

Gil Cuerva, a Filipino-Spanish actor and international model is popular in his portrayal of Matteo Domingo in the tele-drama remake of the hit South Korean romantic-comedy series, My Love from the Star, which also stars with Jennylyn Mercado.
Dubbed as “King of the Gil,” Enrique Gil rose to fame with his tandem with actress and upcoming Darna star, Liza Soberano. They’re popular with their love team, “LizQuen”.
Enrique Gil is not new in showbiz. He appeared in various television shows such as Muling Buksan Ang Puso, Mirabella, Forevermore, Dolce Amore. He’s currently gearing up for upcoming series entitled, Bagani.
