Veteran singer-songwriter Jim Paredes went to the micro-blogging site, Twitter wherein he reacted on Manny Pacquiao’s loss against Australian boxer Jeff Horn.
On Sunday, July 2, the Pinoy boxing superstar faced the Australian boxer in a WBO welterweight match tagged as “Battle of Brisbane.”
The fight which reached the 12th round ended with the Australian boxer winning the title after a unanimous decision from the judges. The scores were: 117-111, 115-113, and 115-113.
Many got disappointed over the result of the match and among who went to social media to express disappointment is veteran musician Jim Paredes.

However, his tweets got a different taste from the Twitter users and netizens.
Several netizens criticized him over his reaction on Pacquiao-Horn match.

“Im not a Pacquiao fan him as a politician but what Mr.Paredes said is uncalled for unnecessary and just pure hateful total LOW BLOW !!!,” another netizen said.

“What a great day talaga!!! Have you seen what happened? Manny unified us (not including you) Filipinos together with the world. We saw how Manny got robbed but still stayed humble,” said a netizen.

Any good civilized person will not rejoice over the distruction of another much less if it happens to a co filipino/committed by foreigner as in the case of the judges of pacquiao-horn fight.Jim Paredes is simply arrogant and rude.He is getting personal and not objective at all , worst of tumatandang walang modo.He barks at youth or people who does not have the same conviction as him. JIM, if you have problem with people, you obviously have problem with God.He never looks at people the wsy you do.
