Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez has been in the showbiz industry for three decades or 30 years already.
She’s popular not just in the Philippines but also in Asia and other countries.
The 47-year-old singer said that she’s happy because she’s still in the industry and people are still interested to hear her voice.
The Mulawin vs Ravena star noted that she wants to prioritize her singing this time. According to her, she might not be doing other soap due to that matter.
During her interview with PEP.ph, she jokingly said that she has no place in Channel 2, ABS-CBN, rival network of GMA.
“Okay rin naman sa akin to also work with other people, pero I’m really good with GMA,” she said.
“At saka, parang wala na rin naman akong paglalagyan sa Channel 2, baka sa bubong na lang ako,” she quipped.
Regine is looking forward to having a movie project this year. She has been a talent of VIVA.
Regine Velasquez, the wife of singer-songwriter Ogie Alcasid came to prominence with her string of popular hits including “Pangako,” “Dadalhin,” and to name a few.
She is now gearing up as one of the main casts of top-rating primetime series, “Mulawin vs Ravena” which also stars with Dennis Trillo and Heart Evangelista.
The series centers on the story of Ravena and Mulawin tribes, fighting over humans for power and vengeance.
