Kapamilya star Piolo Pascual is being speculated to transfer network after he was recently spotted in the compound of GMA Network.
However, he refuted rumors of network transfer saying that he went there for a sole purpose.
According to his statement in an interview with PEP.ph, he went there to pick-up Director Joyce Bernal, who’s a close friend of the 40-year-old actor.
“Sinundo ko lang si Joyce, ano ba!” Piolo Pascual explained.
Bernal was currently working on the Tagalog adaptation of the Korean hit fantasy series, “My Love From The Star” in GMA Network.
Piolo Pascual and Joyce Bernal have worked together on movies including Till There Was You (2003), Don’t Give Up On Us (2006), and Paano Kita Iibigin (2007).
They are set to work together again in a yet unnamed movie with Toni Gonzaga.
As to the speculations that he will transfer network, the actor strongly stated, “I’m very much ABS. I don’t have bad blood with anyone. It was done in good faith.”
He even rebutted allegations that he met with some of the executives in Kapuso Network.
“Nobody welcomed me in GMA. As to what they were saying, I just went there to pick up Joyce, and that’s it.”
Piolo Pascual has been a solid Kapamilya since he joined showbiz in 1993. On the other hand, Joyce Bernal has worked both on ABS-CBN and GMA is currently a producer in the Kapuso network.
