Pia Wurtzbach’s Camp Reacts to Allegations of Her Late Father’s Partner and Half Brother

Camp of Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach has released a statement in relation to the allegations of her late father’s partner and half-brother about allegedly telling lies in her lifestory on Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK).

According to a PEP source, a certain scene featured on MMK wherein Pia’s father Uwe Wurtzbach asked money from her when she won as the first runner-up in Binibining Pilipinas 2013 was real.

Here’s the statement:

“This was during the Binibini days.

“I’m sure not a lot of people know, but when you are 1st runner-up, wala ka ding pera from winnings ‘coz technically you don’t have a crown.

“So, Pia said she couldn’t help.”

The source added that Uwe once pleaded Pia to support the studies of her half-brother, Alexander Wurtzbach.

Based on the article published on the website, there were times that Pia’s younger sister Sarah Wurtzbach, from the United Kingdom, was the one who sends money to her.

That’s why Pia couldn’t give financial assistance to her father at the time.

This issue first erupted when Alexander Wurtzbach and Robie Asingua, partner of Pia’s late father, went to the social media to lambast her over a certain scene on the country’s longest-running drama anthology, MMK.

Robie Asingua slammed Pia for “making a false story.” She said that her father never asked money from her. She also stated the “reason” why her father left them.

She noted that Cheryl Alonzo Tyndall, Pia’s mother had a partner before she got married to Uwe and according to her, she has a new partner at present.

Alexander Wurtzbach, on the other hand, lambasted Pia Wurtzbach for “discrediting” their late father. He even told Pia not to use his father’s surname.
