Singer Richard Poon went to social networking site, Facebook wherein he reacted on the controversial and malicious joke of President Rodrigo Duterte.
Just recently, Duterte was heavily criticized due to his controversial statement as he gives his speech before the military in Iligan.
Duterte gave his assurance to the government troops that he will be the one responsible for the “consequences and ramifications” especially those who might commit a violation in Mindanao while it is under the Martial Law.
According to the president’s statement, he will support the troops as long as they do their job.
The former mayor of Davao declared Martial Law in the entire Mindanao due to the terror attack of the ISIS-backed Maute group in Marawi City.
Accordingly, the cause of the confrontation is because the military forces have tried to seize the leader of the Abu Sayyaf, Isnilon Hapilon, who’s also said to be the leader of ISIS in the Philippines.
Meanwhile, here’s the reaction of Richard Poon about Duterte’s malicious joke.
His response on Duterte’s comment also generated mixed reactions and comment from the netizens.
This is not the first time that Duterte divulged such remark. During 2016 elections, he made headlines after he made a remark about an incident that happened in Davao involving an Australian missionary.
