Will Ariana Grande’s concert in Manila be cancelled following Manchester blast?
The 23-year-old American singer is supposed to hold a concert in the Philippines this coming August 17, 2017, at the Mall of Asia Arena.
At least 22 people killed and over 120 were injured moments after she concluded her “Dangerous Woman” concert at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England last May 22, 2017.
Meanwhile, according to PEP.ph, Ariana Grande earlier announced that she’s suspending her European tour.
Here is the statement released by Ariana Grande’s concert promoter, MMI Live:
“Due to tragic events in Manchester, the Dangerous Woman tour w/ Ariana Grande has been suspended until we can further (–foul word(s) removed–)s the situation & pay our proper respects to those lost.
“The London 02 shows this week have been cancelled as well as all shows thru June 5 in Switzerland.
“We ask this time that we all continue to support the city of Manchester & all those families affected by this cowardice & senseless act of violence.
“Our way of life has once again been threatened but we will overcome this together.
“Thank you.”
However, the statement did not mention whether her Manila concert on August 17 will be suspended or not.
