English actor Roger Moore, who came to prominence with his portrayal of the titular character of British secret agent, James Bond, died at 89 after battling cancer.
Roger Moore passed away in Switzerland on Tuesday, May 23, 2017.
His death was announced by his children who’s according to them, “passed away1 today … after a short but brave battle with cancer.”
Roger Moore has been considered as one of the popular James Bond actors. He took over the role of ‘007 from veteran actor Sean Connery in 1972.
