Gabby Eigenmann issued a statement regarding the petition of Jake Ejercito for the joint custody of his child with Andi Eigenmann, the half-sister of the Kapuso star.
The 39-year-old GMA artist believes that both parties were just lacking conversation.
“Ang ano ko diyan, they don’t meet eye-to-eye kasi,” he said in an interview with PEP.ph. “It’s always miscommunication, palagi ‘yan. Hindi kasi sila direct na nag-uusap,” he added.
“Kung mag-usap man sila, ginagamit ang Twitter, yun,” he noted.
Gabby Eigenmann also understands why Jake Ejercito filed a petition regarding his child’s parental custody.
“Dumating kasi sa point na hindi na dapat umabot sa ganun, but because they don’t talk, may mga miscommunication na hihiramin, hindi nagtutugma ang schedules,” the actor explained.
When asked about his message to Andi Eigenmann and Jake Ejercito, he is hoping that they will settle their issue and become parents to his niece, Ellie.
“Kahit hindi sila magkasundo sa maraming bagay, pero kapag nilagay na nila si Ellie sa gitna, yung anak nila sa gitna, iisa lang dapat ang focus nila,” he said.
“To make her better, happy child. Paglaki, matinong bata, mabait,” he added.
