Miss World-Philippines 2014 and former TV host Valerie Weigmann is now engaged to her boyfriend, lawyer Bodie Pulido.
During the couple’s recent trip to the ancient Machu Picchu site in the Andes Mountains of Peru, Bodie, the brother of GMA News TV anchor Maki Pulido, asked the hand of the beauty queen in marriage.
The 27-year-old Filipino-German beauty queen then said yes when her boyfriend for seven years popped the question.
She took to the image-sharing site, Instagram to share the good news.

“And the highlight of the whole trip…finding my forever in the ancient ruins of Machu Picchu,” she captioned her post. “After 7 years you sealed the deal in the most excellent way.”
Valerie Weigmann came to prominence during the Miss World pageant in 2014 wherein she clinched to the top 25.
Later, she entered showbiz and joined the country’s longest running reality show, Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) during the Teen Edition in 2008, where Ejay Falcon won.
After a stint on ABS-CBN, she co-host “Eat Bulaga” in 2013.
She is currently gearing up for an upcoming modeling stint, the New York Fashion Week 2017, along with Miss Universe 2012 runner-up Janine Tugonon, both are under top modeling agency MSA Models.
