US-based Pinay actress-turned-talk show host Giselle Anne “G” Töngi-Walters or popularly known as G. Toengi slammed the appointment of dancer-blogger Mocha Uson as assistant secretary for social media at the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO).
In a Twitter post on Tuesday, May 9, G. Toengi said that Mocha Uson doesn’t have “credentials or qualifications” for the position given to her by President Rodrigo Duterte.
G. Toengi added that Mocha Uson and PCOO Secretary Martin Andanar will now join together in spreading “#fakenews” in the current administration.

She also noted that “propaganda” and social media dilemma will surface due to the appointment of the former leader of all-female group, Mocha Girls.
You can now be assured that propaganda & online hate will be spread at an alarming rate, with @MochaUsonOFC in Malacanyang #Alternativefacts

Before the latter’s appointment as PCOO assistant secretary, Mocha whose real name is Margaux Justiniano Uson was heavily criticized by the US-based Filipina celebrity on her appointment as a board member of the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) last January.
In a meet and greet in the United States, where Andanar was a guest of honor, G. Toengi directly asked the secretary if what is the qualification of Mocha for the position granted to her by the president.
G. Toengi now hosts Kababayan Today of LA18.
