But who do you think is the woman in the viral picture of the incumbent senator which surfaced online?
It has been revealed that the woman in the photo is his fellow senator Risa Hontiveros.
The photo was taken during the visit of the opposition senators to former senator Leila de Lima at Camp Crame in Quezon City.
Aside from Pangilinan and Hontiveros, senators Franklin Drilon and AntonioTrillanes IV also visited De Lima at her detention cell.
Senator Leila de Lima has been arrested for allegedly orchestrating a drug-trafficking ring while she was justice secretary under the administration of Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino.
Meanwhile, the photo of Kiko Pangilinan “holding the hand” of Risa Hontiveros was earlier hinted by some netizens as the reason why his wife Megastar Sharon Cuneta flew to the United States and seems doesn’t want to go back home anymore.
The singer-actress flew to the United States alone for an unknown reason. She said that she need a break from all her hardships and commitments.
Kiko Pangilinan and Sharon Cuneta are yet to issue any statement regarding this controversy.
