Former Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) housemate Richard Juan is currently being rumored dating Miss Universe Thailand 2016 Chalita Suansane.
In an interview with the Philippine Entertainment Portal, the 24-year-old model-actor described his relationship with the beauty queen noting that they’re “really good friends”.
Rumors regarding Richard Juan and Chalita Suansane relationship surfaced after the two were spotted last February during the Chinese-Filipino model’s visit in Bangkok, Thailand.
Richard Juan and Chalita Suansane first met at the Miss Universe 2016 pageant in January.
The former PBB housemate was one of the models of Mercator Model Management, Inc. who escorted the candidates during their short stay in the country.
“We’re really close, we’re really good friends na parang we talk once in a while, ganun. So we got to know each other,” Richard Juan said.
Last month, Richard Juan and Chalita Suansane visited Seoul, South Korea together.
“We met around together, we went to Music Bank together,” he recalled. “We met different people together and, yeah, it was nice hanging out with her.”
During their stay in South Korea, the former PBB housemate, and the beauty queen had a mini reunion with Miss Universe Korea 2016 Jenny Kim.
“Miss Korea rin kasama namin, siyempre nasa Korea na kami,” he said. “We messaged Miss Korea and we told her, like, ‘Miss Korea, are you still here in Korea?’
“It’s funny ’cause on the day that I arrived, two days later, aalis na siya papuntang US,” he continued.
“Buti naabutan ko pa siya and everything, so he hanged out. We met on the third day,” he added.
