Actress Judy Ann Santos revealed the reason why she has parted ways with her longtime manager Alfie Lorenzo.
In an interview with the Philippine Entertainment Portal, the 38-year-old actress divulged the reason behind of parting ways with her talent manager for 28 years.
Here’s the official statement of Judy Ann Santos:
“We talked August last year. Pumunta ako sa bahay niya.
It was a very proper conversation. Nagpaalam ako nang maayos kasi malaki ang utang na loob ko kay Tito Alfie.
At yung utang na loob na yun, hindi yun mapapalitan ng kahit na anong halaga. Alam naman natin ‘yan.
Alam niyo rin naman kung ano yung relationship ko kay Tito Alfie.
It’s not a professional thing, it’s a personal decision that I had to make.
Because Tito Alfie is not just a professional manager, he’s family.
Walang sigawan na nangyari, wala.
Of course, may iyak sa part ko, kasi may lungkot.
Pero wala yung batuhan, walang ganung drama.
Basta nagpaalam ako nang maayos sa kanya, yun ang importante.
Kumbaga, itinuring ko siyang propesyunal na aspeto.
Kaya pinuntahan ko siya, nag-set ako ng meeting sa kanya.
Kasi ayoko siyang bastusin bilang inalagaan niya talaga ako nang mahabang panahon.
It’s time to move on.
My focus now, really, is my family.
Whatever I do now, whatever project I accept, it’s my family I consider first.
I think it’s about time na I have to decide for myself.”

Judy Ann Santos admitted that she has not been under Lorenzo since August 2016.
