International singing sensation Charice Pempengco is currently being rumored to quit showbiz after she broke up with longtime partner, Alyssa Quijano.
Earlier, the 24-year-old singer has been confirmed that they have ended their 4-year relationship.
In a text message sent by her handler, Carl Cabral to ABS-CBN News, he confirmed their split.
“Yes, Charice and Alyssa have broken up and it was a mutual decision,” he said. “Charice is not accepting any interviews and now taking a break. He’s doing fine and he’s happy. Thank you very much,” Cabral added.
The break up of Charice Pempengco and Alyssa Quijano was first reported in an article published by Salve Asis of Pilipino Star Ngayon on Wednesday, April 26, 2017.
According to the report, Alyssa Quijano left their apartment along with her personal belongings while Charice Pempengco now lives with her fan from Laguna.
It can be recalled that it was in 2013 when the Pyramid singer admitted that “Opo, tomboy po ako.”
After her confession, her international career severed.
Charice Pempengco and Alyssa Quijano even planned to get married and also have a baby.
It can also be remembered that her mom and grandmother was against their relationship.
As of posting, it is not yet clear what’s the reason behind their concurrent break up but some hinted that financial is the reason behind it.
