Bela Padilla has issued a statement about the rumored relationship between Angel Locsin and her former boyfriend, Neil Arce.
“If they aren’t, they will be. I feel they will be,” the 25-year-old “My Dear Heart” actress said in an interview with host Boy Abunda in the late-night ABS-CBN talk show “Tonight With Boy Abunda” on Tuesday, April 25, 2017.
“They have a very good foundation and I see both of them… they’re compatible,” she added.
The rumored romance about Neil Arce and Angel Locsin first erupted when they were spotted together during the Holy Week break in Hong Kong.
According to an article published by PEP, Neil has been friends with Angel Locsin for seven years already.
On the other hand, Bela Padilla whose real name is Krista Cariño Sullivan split with Neil Arce last January 2017.
Although they have yet to confirm their relationship, Angel Locsin and Neil Arce were inseparable during the latter’s birthday bash last Saturday, April 22, 2017.
Bela Padilla shared that she was also invited by Angel Locsin on her actual birthday on April 23, however she wasn’t able to attend due to her busy schedule.
When asked about if Angel Locsin has something to do with their break up in January, she said: “Wala, wala at all. And Angel was also a friend. She is still a friend.”
Bela also refuted rumors that she is currently dating someone. However, she admitted that she and her fellow My Dear Heart star Zanjoe Marudo are apparently “texting” with each other.
She also noted that they are in a “getting-to-now-each-other stage.”
“I would say Zanjoe is a big help in my life right now,” the former Kapuso actress stressed.
