Breakout Child Star Awra Briguela will star in a new movie with the King of Philippine TV series, Coco Martin.
Just recently, Awra Briguela was named as the first-ever winner of “Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids”.
The 14-year-old child star who hails from Las Piñas said in an interview with ABS-CBN morning show, “Umagang Kay Ganda (UKG)” that he will be starring in an upcoming film with Coco Martin.
“May gagawin kaming pelikula ni Kuya Coco hindi ko po alam kung kailan mag-uumpisa,” Awra said.
Awra Briguela whose real name is McNeal Briguela shared that as of now, he couldn’t believe that he won the kids’ edition of “Your Face Sounds Familiar” citing the low scores he gained while on the competition.
“Sobrang saya ‘yung araw na banggitin ‘yung pangalan mo,” Awra Briguela noted.
Awra also admitted that he felt nervous and at the same time doubtful upon winning the competition noting that the other contestants were also good.
“Sobra kasi ang mga kalaban ko. Sobrang higpit talaga, parang ayaw talaga nila akong papasukin sa grand finals,” he added.
Awra Briguela who appears on ABS-CBN top-rating primetime series, “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” won after earning the highest combined votes from the judges and the viewers with 95.41%. Awra impersonated Nicki Minaj.
On the other hand, Elha Nympha who impersonated Italian operatic tenor Luciano Pavarotti places second with 70.75%.
