Etta Ng, the 17-year-old daughter of action/comedy superstar Jackie Chan was admitted to a hospital in Hong Kong on Sunday, April 2, 2017 after she allegedly tried to take her own life.
The Straits Times cited local media reports that Jackie Chan’s daughter recently went to Thailand along with her mother’s friend. But upon returning to Hong Kong, she was immediately rushed to the hospital.
Etta Ng is Jackie Chan’s daughter with former beauty queen Elaine Ng. While he was married to former actress Lin Feng-jiao, the multi-awarded actor had an affair with the latter.
Beforehand, Etta Nang took to her social media account where she posted some statement which made the netizens startled. “Feeling stressed,” she wrote.
Elaine Ng refused to divulge any statement regarding the reports that her daughter allegedly tried to take her own life.
On the other hand, she noted that they are still waiting for the results regarding the condition of her daughter.
It can be recalled that Etta Ng recently made online buzz over “controversial articles” which she shared on the social media. Her post fueled allegations that she might have tried to take her own life.
Over the past few weeks, the mother and daughter have been constrained with several issues particularly on child abuse.
According to the report, Elaine has been nabbed two times already. She was detained for criminal intimidation and physical abuse.
