Jerika Ejercito has issued a statement regarding the alleged private video of her ex-boyfriend Bernard Palanca that circulated online.
In an interview with ABS-CBN entertainment site Push, the daughter of Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada said that she has been separated with Bernard Palanca for a long time. She also stressed that she wanted to distance herself from the private affairs of the actor.
“Personally, nothing kasi matagal na kaming hiwalay. But as a mother since may anak kami I’m very concerned with my child. But luckily my son is only three years old, so di’ pa siya aware at may lead time pa ako na mag isip ng tamang sagot pag dumating yung time na tanungin niya ako regarding that,” she said.
“Alam naman din ng iba na we’ve been separated for a very long time. So yung nangyari sa kanya, that is his very own choice, this is all his decision. Labas na ako dyan,” she added.
Jerika Ejercito is that daughter of former President Erap Estrada to actress Laarni Enriquez.
On the other hand, Bernard Palanca came to prominence as one of the esteemed members of “The Hunks” which also include Piolo Pascual, Jericho Rosales, Diether Ocampo, and Carlos Agassi.
He was also known for his long-term relationship with actress/model Rica Peralejo and Meryll Soriano, the eldest daughter of Willie Revillame, whom he had a son named Elijah.
Meanwhile, Bernard Palanca has yet to issue any statement regarding his controversial video which surfaced online.
