Dian Serranilla made a glamorous record as the first ever Filipina to celebrate her debut or 18th birthday at SM Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena.
According to an article published by Candy Magazine, the theme of her grandiose birthday celebration was all about the “New York Fashion Week.”

Dian Serranilla noted that she and her family considered MOA Arena as their top choice because the “venue met all the specifications needed for the stage and everything else.”
The debutante added that they did not brim the popular concert venue with guests and only a thousand or less were invited to attend her debut.
When asked about what’s the reason why they need to celebrate her debut in such a massive venue, she replied: “We are a big family and we all had guests to invite. Since it is the last debut for my immediate family, we wanted to reconnect with everyone,” she said.
This is the first time that a debut was held in MOA Arena.

MOA Arena is an indoor arena within the complex of SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City. It can accommodate up to 20,000 guests (based upon its seating capacity).
It houses numerous events such as basketball (PBA), wedding (Marian and Dingdong Dantes Wedding), national conventions and meetings (APEC) and concerts including the soon to kick off concert of the world-renowned band, “Coldplay.”
