Internet sensation-turned-PBB housemate Rita Gabiola, also known as “Badjao Girl” is currently making rounds online after she was hinted of becoming a recording artist.
In a video posted by handler The Greatest, the Badjao Girl is seen practicing Smokey Mountains’ phenomenal single, “Kailan”. One of the netizens even commented that she’s being prepared for singing breakthrough.

Rita Gabiola came to prominence after a photo of her taken by a self-proclaimed photographer Topher Quinto Burgos during Pahiyas Festival in Lucban, Quezon City went viral online.
The photo which was described as “Real Beauty Slayer” circulated on the social media garnering thousands of reactions from the netizens.
After breaking the limelight, she then entered the world of show business. She first had a stint in modeling after that, she was introduced into the country’s longest running reality show, Pinoy Big Brother.
However, her PBB career ended after she was voted out during PBB: Lucky Season 7 during the second week of the season.
Meanwhile, she is currently gearing up for her upcoming modeling stint.
The 13-year-old is now a step closer in achieving her dream of becoming a teacher after she was recently granted with a full scholarship.
Rita Gabiola is the second among her five other siblings. Her father works as a fisherman, while her mother is a plain housewife.
