This King Cobra Went Inside a Village But Didn’t Attack Anyone. What it Did Will Leave You in Awe!

King Cobra is considered as one of the venomous creature in the entire planet. It is endemic to Asia and is mostly found in India and Southeast Asia.

Dubbed as the world’s longest venomous snake, King Cobra can grow as much as 18.8 feet (including tail). However, King Cobra is not actually a member of true cobras or Naja genus. Rather it is the sole member of its own genus.

Known as hunters of the wild, King Cobras are being refrained especially by humans.

Unfortunately, not this kind. This King Cobra on the video is currently making rounds online with its unusual act.

Instead of attacking the people in Karnataka, India. It came across a humble request.

Watch the video provided below.

Here’s an excerpt on the accompanying caption on the video:

“The video – shot in Southern India – shows a daring wildlife rescue worker offering water to the snake.

The 12 feet long cobra was rescued from a village in Kaiga township – where it has strayed, apparently looking for water.

Some parts of southern India have been hit by drought, making water scarce. Wildlife officials say the drought has severely affected wild animals in the region.

So when the team of rescue workers found the cobra, the first thing they did was to offer it water.”

The rare scene was captured by Deputy Range Forest Officer CN Naykka of Karwar Forest Range.
