The family of Shiryl Saturnino is mulling to file charges against The Icon Clinic.
The family of Shiryl Saturnino, the 29-year-old businesswoman who died after undergoing cosmetic surgery procedures is mulling to file charges against Icon Clinic, the facility where she had series of surgery.
In an interview with CNN Philippines, Shiryl Saturnino’s mother Shirley said that it must be held accountable for the passing of her daughter.
“Doon po namatay. Kailangan talaga panagutan nila kasi kung ang anak ko naman nagpayag magpa-opera sa kanila. Dapat tinignan nila kung kaya ng katawan ng anak ko,” she said.
If it is proven that Shiryl Saturnino died from an act of negligence, suspects including The Icon Clinic may face charges of reckless imprudence resulting in homicide.
Just recently, the Icon Clinic has released an official statement noting that it is cooperating in the investigation of Saturnino’s case and is extending support for the bereaved family.
