Senator Leila de Lima reacts on former Senior Supt, Cezar Mancao II arrests and said President Duterte might use him against her.

In a recent news report of ABS-CBN news, Senator Leila de Lima said she will not be surprised that President Duterte administration will use former Senior Supt, Cezar Mancao II against her.

“That’s not at all an impossibility. Under the rate that this administration is doing anything and everything within its powers para lang ipatupad yung gusto ng pangulo na siraan ako talaga,” De Lima said.

“I’m prepared always for the worst now. Alam ko naman na hindi pa tapos yan eh,”. she added.

Mancao has been in the news after he recently surrendered to the authorities. Three years after he escaped from the official custody of NBI, Mancao decided to hand himself to the authorities.

On Monday, Mancao was reportedly surrendered to the CIDG-National Capital Region. He is now detained at the CIDG-NCR office in Camp Crame, Quezon City.

He was among the accused in the Dacer-Corbito murder case in 2000. He feared for his life and escaped the official custody of the NBI after he was informed that he will be transferred to the Manila City Jail.

Following his arrest, Mancao absolved Senator Ping Lacson and the former Philippine President Estrada after linking them in the double murder case.

Furthermore, the lady senator advised Mancao that he should not allow himself to be used by the new administration.

“So, ano na naman ang game plan ng mga kampon ni Satanas? Huwag siyang pagagamit,” said De Lima.

De Lima showed up to the media and fearlessly said that Duterte government using Mancao against her is not far from happening.

In a previous report, whistle-blower Sandra Cam, In 2014, submitted an affidavit to the commission on Appointments accusing the De Lima having an illicit affair with Mancao.

January 30, 2017, Mancao surrendered to the Philippine National Police.
