Filipino Comedian Ethel Booba is among the thousands of Filipinos who got hooked with the Miss Universe 2017 pageant, particularly as the events were held in Manila.
She quickly jumped in the fever by coming out with answers to the Miss Universe questions for the candidates. As the comedian admitted that she was among those who supported Philippine’s bet Maxine Medina in the International pageant.

Many Filipino netizens also took to social media and shared their reactions after Maxine failed to advance to the Top 3. Some of the netizens said that it is because of her answer in the question-and-answer portion.
But the comedian has her own reason for this issue by saying, “Hindi naman mali ang sagot ni Maxine siguro hindi lang ganon ka impressive. Kung ako tinanong biglaan baka nagplay dead na lang ako. Charot!”
Ethel also criticized those Filipino netizens who shared how they would’ve answered if they were the ones onstage.
“Dami nagmaasim na mas magaling sagot nila kay Maxine. Kung kayo ang lumaban baka nga di pa kayo umabot sa Q&A. Charot!” she wrote
