Police confirmed that Ronnie Dayan was finally arrested at Sitio Turod, Barangay (village) San Felipe, San Juan, La Union.
Ronnie Dayan is the former driver and bodyguard of Sen. Leila de Lima. He has gone hiding after President Rodrigo Duterte tagged him as the lover of the Senator and alleged link to the drug lords detained at the New Bilibid Prison.
An arrest warrant has been served for Dayan after failing to appear before the House for inquiry on the National Bilibid Prison (NBP) drug ring.
According to a recent news report of ABS-CBN news, Police confirmed to the media that Dayan was arrested Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at Sitio Turod , Brgy. San Felipe in San Juan, La Union.
Police said that the Crime Investigation and Detection Group-La Union and the provincial police offices of La Union and Pangasinan conducted an operation to arrest Dayan in La Union.
