Presidential Communications Office (PCO) confirms that they were in great surprise for the burial of the former President Ferdinand Marcos at the Libingan.
The communications team of President Rodrigo Duterte said in a Palace briefing that they are not aware of the date of the burial of Marcos at the Libingan ng mga Bayani on Friday.
This was confirmed by the Assistant Secretary Marie Banaag. She said the PC has no knowledge about the burial.
“So far, the PCO has no knowledge of that instruction. We don’t have any knowledge of the burial. The schedule and everything, we don’t have. Perhaps, the PNP [Philippine National Police], yes,” Banaag told reporters.
“We don’t really know. We honestly don’t know,” she added.
