Chinese President Sends Sympathy To Davao Victims

Chinese President Sends Sympathy – Chinese President Xi Jinping sends sympathy to the victims of the Davao City incident that happened last Friday, September 2.

The said incident happened in Roxas night market in the said city wherein there are 15 lives taken and leaving about 70 others injured as reported.

The letter that was addressed to President Rodrigo Duterte says that the Chinese President Xi Jinping was “shocked” by what happened.

Chinese President Sends Sympathy

“Shocked to learn of the terrorist explosion incident in Davao City of the Philippines, I am writing to Your Excellency, on behalf of the Chinese Government and the Chinese people, and in my own name, to express my deep condolences to the deceased civilians and my heartfelt sympathy to the injured and the families of the victims,” Chinese President Jinping said.

The Chinese leader even expressed that his country condemns terror1sm.

“China is firmly opposed to terrorism in all forms, and strongly condemn the violent terrorist acts targeting innocent civilians,” he said.

Also, President Xi Jinping pointed out that China is “ready to work together with the international community including the Philippines” in fighting terror1sm and in maintaining peace and stability, global and regional.
