New 3-Dimensional Photo Craze – Life-Like Three-Dimensional Figures

South Korea has new three-dimensional photo craze. A life-like three-dimensional figures – miniature replica of a person, animals or objects instead of printed photos.

Most of us are fond of taking selfies, post in the internet or social media, or develop it to put in your photo album. But in South Korea, thing are very different of taking pictures, or image because of this new and latest technology.

A mother take her two year-old son to try this new way of taking pictures. She said that she want to show her son his picture of what he looks like when he was still a little kid, but in a three-dimensional figure.

Another American student also get her three-dimensional figure to send it to her boyfriend back in the US.

Pet enthusiasts can also take their dogs or cats to be taken a picture to have their figures printed in three-dimensional.

This new way of developing picture needs a hundred of cameras for them to be able to take and project the different angle in perspective of the object to produce its exact miniature replica.

The finished product will be able to get after three days. The pictures taken at the store, act as a digital blue print.

This kind of expensive tech is widely used by Hollywood and Gaming industries. The process is called “Photogrammetry” which uses a point cloud and 3D model out of photos which can be done with enough photography skills and softwares such as 123D catch or Agisoft photoscan.
