Pres. Rody Duterte finally meets with Vice President Leni Robredo for the very first time after both public officials held their separate inauguration as President and Vice President respectively.

The meeting between Pres. Duterte and Vice President Robredo happened during the oath taking of the newly appointed head of the Arme Forces of the Philippines at Camp Aguinaldo on Friday.

The President and the Vice President shook hands as they shared the stage at Camp Aguinaldo for the change of command of the AFP after they were given a full military honors.

The two highest officials of the Republic werd just one seat apart during the event with only acting AFP Chief of Staff Glorious Miranda seating between Duterte and Robredo.

For the very first time in the history of the Philippines inauguration of the two highest officials they served local delicacies and invited only acew guests to witness their inauguration.

President Rody Duterte won the presidency with just a limited resources and most of his votes came from volunteers and on social medias effort. Vice Pres. Leni Robredo on his part won the Vice Presidency with help of the Liberal Party’s machineries.

Vice President Robredo was also involved in some controversy during the campaign period when she told some of her supporters that he will never worked with Mayor Rody Duterte but those statement were never confirmed by the media.
