Speaking to ANC’s Headstart, Jimenez said that he thought it was a joke, but it will actually happen after the incoming officials assume the office.

“I thought it was a joke when we were invited, so I raised my hand,” he said.

Jimenez also said that Bureau of Internal Revenue Commissioner Kim Henares will also join the president and other cabinet officials in the bread-making lesson.

“Kim Henares is joining, and she said ‘I am eating only the bread I made’,” he added.

In a previous interview with ANC, Secretary of Foreign Affairs Rene Almendras said that he met with a few cabinet officials for a dinner and they decided to take baking lessons.

According to Jimenez, President Aquino may be returning to his family’s home in Quezon City.

He also said that he is not sentimental about leaving the office. In fact, he is very proud of his work and his people.

Incoming president Rodrigo Duterte will be inaugurated on Thursday at the Malacañang Palace’s Rizal Hall.

The oath-taking ceremony will be attended by around 600 guests, which include the first family, Duterte’s partymates and friends, local officials, and private individauls.

The inauguration will be held separately from Vice President-elect Leni Robredo’s inauguration ceremony.
