Former DILG Secretary and losing presidential candidate Mar Roxas has a new career a travel blogger and he reall enjoyed writing while traveling from different parts of the Philippines. The Liberal Party standard bearer shares some tips on his blog about saving while traveling. According to Mar Roxas he is now on a tour of the country and thanks those who supported him in the May 9 elections.
The travel documentaries of Mar Roxas was posted on his official Facebook Page, the first post about his travels was dubbed by Roxas as “Thank You Tour,” and it was posted on June 14, 2016.
Based upon the first blog post of Roxas he talked about his trip to the Visayas, traveling from Oriental Mindoro on June 14 to Negros Occidental on June 20 before he headed back to Manila. Some of the places visited by Roxas are Capiz, Aklan, Iloilo and Antique on Panay island and then he proceeded to Negros Occidental.
Mar Roxas alongside some of his closest friends took Ro-Ro vessel to Oriental Mindoro on June 14 and they documented their trip with a Go-Pro camera and an iPhone. The former Liberal Party stalwart also revealed the main reasons why he is traveling right now and documented it on a blog. He noted that first all he really want to thank everyone who put their trust in him during the national elections.
During Roxas travel to Mindoro, he took photos of Naujan Lake, considered as the fourth largest lake in the Philippines. From Bulalaco Port, Mar Roxas crossed to Caticlan, Malay, Aklan and then drove to the capital Kalibo and then to Batan town. Mar Roxas also offered some tips to travelers taking the Ro-ro as he noted that once you take the Ro-Ro from Roxas town in Oriental Mindoro, the drive from the north is faster but the trip by sea is longer. On the other hand when you take the Ro-Ro from Bulalacao in Oriental Mindoro, the drive from the north is longer but the trip by sea is shorter.
The second blog post of Mar Roxas was titled “Home Sweet Capiz, where it all started.” According to the former politician-turned-travel blogger, he as overwhelmed by the response to his blog.
