In an interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal, the “Eat Bulaga” host said that they can still see the popularity of the stars, citing one the episodes where a few people came in the “Juan For All, All For Juan” segment because they were absent.

However, Manalo also said that he is not updated on Social media sites since he doesn’t have social media accounts.

According to the 50-year-old host, Maine Mendoza has not changed since she rose to popularity, she just became comfortable talking to the hosts and staff of longest-running noontime show.

Maine Mendoza rose to fame after she joined the GMA noontime show. She was discovered through her viral dubsmash videos. Then, she was paired to Kapuso actor Alden Richards.

Meanwhile, the two are now gearing up for their upcoming movie. The untitled film will mark their first anniversary as a tandem in “Eat Bulaga’s” Kalyeserye.
