Muhammad Ali – Different sorts of people gathered on Friday to bid farewell to the self-proclaimed Greatest Muhammad Ali.
Religious and political leaders, together with the many people from the sports world, together with the thousands of fans gathered to mourn for Ali who has been an inspiration to many people all over the world.
The former world heavyweight champion just shook the work with his epic showmanship in the ring as well his advocacies.
Muhammad Ali died a week ago at the age of 74 after being hospitalized for respiratory complications. Ali also battled against Parkinson’s disease for three decades.

In a report by GMA News, it is said that fans have been chanting, “Ali!” as they throw flowers on the streets of Louisville, Kentucky, Ali’s hometown. The funera1 procession toured the city. It also pauses for a huge crowd waiting.
According to city officials, there are about 100,000 people who came to give honor to Ali, other came from other places in the US, others across the world. In the report, the procession was an 18-car one that took over 23 miles in memory of Ali.
It became an interfaith memorial service as it began with Muslim prayers. Reverend Kevin W. Cosby, a pastor at a Louisville church admired Ali being among the athletes that pursue civil rights.
“Before James Brown said, ‘I’m black and I’m proud,’ Muhammad Ali said, ‘I’m black and I’m pretty,'” Cosby refers to the 1960s R&B singer.
“He dared to love black people at a time when black people had a problem loving themselves,” Cosby added.
Other big names in the US came like former President Bill Clinton together with celebrities like, Billy Crystal, Mike Tyson, and Will Smith in a 20,000-seat sports arena.
Even foreign dignitaries like the Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan went on the Thursday for the Muslim ceremonies but didn’t attend the Friday’s event as planned.
