The Kapamilya Channel’s movie outfit, Star Cinema officially released the first Television teaser of the highly anticipated movie, “The Achy Breaky Hearts,” starring Jodi Sta. Maria, Ian Veneracion and Richard yap. According to Star Cinema, the movie’s title was inspired by the 1992 pop hit but US country singer Billy Ray Cyrus.

Based upon the first teaser released online through the Official YouTube account of ABS-CBN’s Star Cinema, the teaser showed Chinggay (Jodi Sta. Maria), a jewelry shop manager in her ’30s, feels the pressure to find love. She then goes out on dates but none of the men she meets seem to make the cut.
The relationship goals of Chinggay becomes more complicated when Ryan (Ian Veneracion) and Frank (Richard Yap) enter the picture. Some of her friends even asked her to choose between Tisoy or Chinoy in which Chinggay replied that both of them were worthy to become a boyfriend.
Jodi Sta. Maria was caught in a love triangle between Richard Yap and Ian Veneracion. During the past few months, Jodi Sta. Maria can be remembered that Jodi formed good tandems with Richard Yap in the top-rating series, Be Careful With My Heart, while Ian Veneracion was also involved with Jodi Sta. Maria in the recently concluded remake of “Pangako Sa ‘Yo.”
The highly anticipated movie “The Achy Breaky Hearts,” is under the direction of Antoinette Jadaone and it will be shown in cinemas on June 29, 2016.
