The incoming President of the Republic of the Philippines, Pres. Rody Duterte might choose some journalists who could interview him in the near future due to latest development in Philippine media. Even before Mayor Duterte won the election he was always been a target of some bias journalists who found enjoyment on reporting only the mistakes of the Davao City Mayor. Pres. Duterte became a target once again by some media personnel who according to some Duterte supporters could not accept defeat from the Davao city mayor.
According to some international media group they plan to boycott Duterte presscon if the President won’t ask public apology. They noted that it is improper to say that journalists are being killed because they are corrupt, not all but some. If Duterte won’t ask public apology, they will surely boycott all his future presscon.
A concerned netizen and considered as one of Mayor Dutere’s supporters replied with the journalists plans of boycotting Mayor Rody Duterte by saying that some media groups reported only the negative things they could find in every statement released by the Mayor.
Some of the netizen defenders of Mayor Rody Duterte noted that they don’t like what the media was doing against the Mayor of Davao City. The journalists who covered the event in Davao City asked some irrelevant questions against Duterte and the real focus of the press conference was not reported on national media but some minor mistakes of the President were sensationalized.
