Johnriel Casimero Knocks Out Ruenroeng to Recapture IBF World Flyweight Title

Former world champion Johnriel Casimero made a redemption of his own as he knocked out the reigning International Boxing Federation (IBF) champion from Thailand Amat Ruenroeng during the fourth round of their title fight to recapture the IBF World Flyweight title late Wednesday at Diamond Stadium in Beijing, China.

The veteran boxer from Ormoc, Leyte, Johnriel Casimero floored the depending champion twice in the fourth quarter of their highly attended boxing fight with an impressive left hook to stop the match at the 2:10 mark and deal Ruenroeng his first defeat on his illustrious boxing career.

During the first meeting of the two Flyweight boxer, the Thai Amat Ruenroeng dethroned the Filipino champion, Casimero in one of the most controversial boxing match via unanimous decision victory in favor of the Thailand boxer.
