During a homecoming dinner at Makati Shanri-La Hotel, Eigenman told the Philippine Entertainment Portal that she has already accepted that her time in showbiz is over, but she was glad when people appreciate her at the festival.
“I already embraced that. I believed that and it’s okay, I’ll just find something else to do. Then, all of a sudden, I arrive in France where everybody there appreciates me and what I can do,” she said.
The 25-year-old actress admitted that she had thoughts of quitting the entertainment industry. But when she attended the Cannes Film Festival, she realized that good things come in God’s time.
“It helped me believe that, yes, you fall down but you get back up and you try and you try again. In God’s time, things like these will come to you, to all of us,” she added.
Aside from Jaclyn Jose, her brother Sid Lucero also won the Best Actor award for his performance in the independent film “Toto” at the Los Angeles Comedy Festival.
