CPA Topnotchers named by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC)
CPA Topnachers named after the statement of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) was released on Tuesday.
From the Universal Colleges of Parañaque, Karim Gonzales Abitago bagged the first place among 2,967 passers with his 92.17 percent rating on the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Licensure Examination on May 2016.
The PRC announced that there are 2,967 of 6,925 examinees passed the exams given by the Board of Accountancy in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo and Legazpi.
Followed by a graduate of COR Jesu College (Holy Cross of Digos), Kimjames Sarapanan Manalo garnered rating of 91.83 percent.
On the third spot is Jayvee Faust Bugtai Anga from the University of San Jose-Recoletos with 91.67 percent.
Following him is Trisha Claire Yu Cabanlit with 91.33 percent from the University of San Carlos. The data show that there are six students from the said university who made it to the top 10.
Another topnotcher from University of San Carlos is Ervin Michael Bendulo Cavalida with 91.17 percent. Followed by Clare Monica Gako Pilapil with 90.83 percent, Clare Monica Gako Pilapil with 90.83 percent, all from the same university.
On the Seventh place, all got 90.67 percent namely, Blessy Batausa Doylabo of University of Mindano-Davao City, Adrianne Paul Ignacio Fajatin of University of Manila, Jomar Leona Lumagbas of Eastern Visayas State University and Elyzzah Kaye Cadalin Torres, University of San Jose-Recoletos.
List continues with Shenen Mae Talaboc Goc-Ong from the University of San Jose-Recoletos with 90.33 percent.
Nineth are those with 90.17 percent namely, Patrick Villaluz Cipriano from De La Salle-Araneta University, Joshua Abundo Echivarre of the University of San Carlos, Marc Raphael Nazareno Ong of the University of San Carlos, Kenny Tabilaran, University of San Jose-Recoletos.
Last spot on the top list is, Sarah Mansueto Balisacan again from University of San Carlos with 90 percent.
Top performing school is identified with 54 out of the 58 takers passing the exam, namely the De La Salle University-Manila, followed by the University of Santo Tomas with 84 passers out of the 93 takers.
On the third place is University of San Jose-Recoletos with 108 passers out of the 133 takers.
