Gilas Cadets Official Line-up for the 2016 SEABA Stankovic Cup

The Gilas Pilipinas Cadets will be competing in the highly anticipated Southeast Asia Basketball Association (SEABA) Stankovic Cup for Men 2016 which will be held in Bangkok, Thailand. The Gilas Cadest game will start on Saturday May 22, 2016 and it will end on May 28, 2016. According to FIBA Asia, the top two team will qualify for the 2016 FIBA Asia Challenge on September 9-18, 2016 in Iran.

Troy

The winners of the SEABA Stankovic Cup in Thailand will then make their first journey in the qualifying for the 2017 FIBA Asia Cup. Meanwhile, according to FIBA, the 2016 SEABA Stankovic Cup participating teams are the following: Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.

The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) already released the official line-up for the 2016 SEABA Stankovic Cup which are listed below. Some of the country’s most prominent amateurs and collegiate players worked hand in hand in trying to dominate the SEABA Cup together with professional PBA Reinforcements headed by Troy Rosario of Tropang Texters and Almond Vosotros of Blackwater.

Former stars of the UAAP and the NCAA were also included in the official line-up of Gilas Cadets mentored by head coach Nash Racela alongside assistant coaches, Michael Oliver and Joshua Vincent Reyes.
