Is Joross Gamboa playing matchmaker for Sandara Park and Mario Maurer?
Former “Star Circle Quest” star Joross Gamboa denied playing as matchmaker for K-pop superstar Sandara Park and Thai actor Mario Maurer.
Sandara Park is the batchmate of Joross Gambao in the first season of SCQ, while Mario Maurer was his co-star in the movie “Suddenly It’s Magic.”
In an interview with PEP, the “Starting Over Again” actor said that he and Park were together in Thailand as they are always travelling together.
Gamboa, who is married to Katz Saga, added that Park also travelled with them during their honeymoon.
“Nakasama ko si Sandara sa Thailand, kasi lagi kaming magkakasama kami out-of-the-country. Ultimo honeymoon nga naming mag-asawa, sumama siya, e,” he said.
The 31-year-old also said that he can’t introduce Maurer to Park since their schedules do not permit them. He added that they are close to the heartthrob’s manager.
“Hindi ko maireto kay Mario Maurer, kasi yung schedule ni Mario. Tuwing pupunta kaming ano… naging tropa na namin ni Sandara, yung manager ni Mario,” he added.
When asked if he is the matchmaker of stars, Gamboa said that it already happened a long time ago and Park likes someone new now. However, he did not reveal the singer’s crush.
Meanwhile, Gambao also denied that Maurer had a relationship with comedian Kakai Bautista. While he admitted that the actor likes people with sense of humor, he said that he is just enjoying Bautista’s company.
