James Reid in crutches following a knee injury.
James Reid hurt his knee after a fan of allegedly pushed him while in Las Vegas, USA for the kick-off of the “Jadine High on Love” tour in United States along with his on-screen partner and real-life girlfriend Nadine Lustre.
Based upon an article published by ABS-CBN News, the incident cause an injury on the 23-year-old actor’s knee. The report noted that he hit his knee on the stairs of the bus after a fan allegedly pushed him.
He was then advised by his doctors to take some rest after his knee was reportedly swollen.
On Instagram, Viva Artist Agency posted a photo of James Reid in crutches while his right leg is being wrapped with a cast.

Due to the incident, the former “On The Wings of Love” actor was not able to attend a meet-and-greet event in Las Vegas.
Other fans thought that James Reid was simply making an excuse for him not to come on the event but comedian Chad Kinis defended the Kapamilya star against false allegations.

“James is not making excuses for not making it to see the fans that are waiting for them. Please understand. Kahit gaano pa kapagod ang JaDine, pinipilit nila na mapagbigyan ang lahat,” the comedian who is currently in Las Vegas along with the couple said.
“Para sa ngsasabi na nage-excuse si James ayan po ang evidence na hindi. Nasaktan po ‘yung tao. Salamat po. Naiintidihan po namin na gustong gusto nyo po sila makita at sila din naman po. Pero ‘wag naman po sana sa extent na masaktan sila. Ayaw din po namin na nagkakasakitan kayo. Wala pong may gusto ng nangyari. So please po next time let’s just be more careful and not hurt someone,” he said in a separate photo of James Kinis.
Chad Kinis then asked fans and supporter of James Reid to pray for his fast recupperation
