Darren Espanto admitted that he has a crush on Teen Queen Kathryn Bernardo.
During his guest appearance on ABS-CBN’s newest morning show, “Magandang Buhay”, the former The Voice Kids Season 1 grandfinalist shared that he has a crush with the “Pangako Sa’Yo” star.
The newest morning show which debuted last April 18, 2016 is co-hosted by Karla Estrada, the mother of Daniel Padilla- who is still rumored to be Kathryn’s boyfriend.
“Wait lang… Si Ate Kathryn talaga,” the 14-year-old singer said when asked about his crush on showbiz. “Since ‘Goin’ Bulilit’ pa lang ay pinapanood ko na siya. At ‘yung Super Inggo,'” Darren Espanto added.
According to a report published by ABS-CBN News, the young singer who is set to turn 15 this coming May 24, 2016 is currently being linked to teen star Cassy Legaspi, daughter of Carmina Villaroel and Zoren Legaspi and also to teen actress Andrea Brillantes.
“Pero friendship muna ngayon si Cassy at saka si Andrea Brillantes,” Darren Espanto explained.
Darren Espanto is currently gearing up on his upcoming concert event entitled “D Total Experience” which is slated on June 25, 2016 at the KIA Theater in Cubao, Quezon City.
The Filipino singer with Canadian decent came to prominence after her joined the kid’s edition of The Voice Philippines where he finished runner-up to Lyca Gairanod.
At the age of ten, he won the Masters Finals of the Pinoy Singing Sensation competition in Edmonton. He made his first television appearance via YTV’s reality television “The Next Star” in 2012.
