Actress/model Karel Marquez is now engaged to her non-showbiz boyfriend of three years, Sean Fariñas. The 29-year-old actress took to image-sharing site, Instagram to announce her engagement.
Based upon the report of the Philippine Entertainment Portal, their engagement took place while they’re on a vacation at Atmosphere Resorts in Dauin, Negros Occidental.
She shared that she was surprised when her boyfriend pulled her to sunset cruise and later asked her hand for marriage.

“Now that I have told my family and friends… I guess I could breathe now (I cried so much during sunset),” she said in the caption of the photo she shared.
“And I guess we are going to tell this to the universe of course… WE GOT ENGAGED TODAY,” she added.

It was on December 2012 when Karel announced to the public that she is in a relationship with the businessman and apparently owner of renowned restobars in the country.
Karel Marquez whose real name is Karla Ysabel Marquez-Santos, on the other hand had a long-time partner named Armand de Guzman whom she had a child namely; Keiley and Kyler.
However, they broke up in January 2012.
Karel Marquez has starred in numerous television programs in ABS-CBN and GMA-7 with her latest TV appearance via “My Destiny” where she portrayed the role of Bernice Salcedo.
She also had modeling stints on popular men’s magazine including FHM and UNO.
