A Nestle company, Kitkat Japan just surprised the consumers because of their wide range flavors available and adding to that, the new “melon and cheese flavor”

The famous chocolate brand have more 300 flavours available in Japan, yes it’s true, over 300.

Some of the many flavors are matcha-green tea strawberry cheesecake, and cinnamon cookie, and that sounds sweet and natural, right?

But the latest flavor had some mixed opinions on whether it tastes good or not. It comes in Hokkaido melon, which is a variety of melon found in Japan.

The melon and mascarpone flavor made people hesitant about it.

It has a combination of fruit and cheese, a unique taste that can only be found in one of the most popular chocolate bars, Kitkat.

To those who are not familiar with mascarpone, it is a type of Italian cheese, mixed with cream and other acidic substances, that gives a tangy and sweet taste.

So why did Japan came up with this kind of flavor?

According to them, the mixed flavour “feeatures a mild sweetness of Hokkaido melon and a fresh taste of mascarpone cheese”, says Kitkat Japan’s site.

It creates a unique and refreshing taste, for those who are all up to have some snack.

But to take note, not everyone is happy about it.

There are random reactions gathered from different persons and express their disappoint about the flavor – and maybe because of the taste.

One person tweeted, “Kit Kat has a cheese and melon flavoured option and I’m trying to be dsgusted”.

“That sounds horrible!” one man wrote.

This melon-flavoured chocolate bars are limited and available at selected store only, in Japan. There’s only a small amount available for the public to buy and try it, so no worries.

Well, if you don’t want to, just don’t buy them. Besides, there’s no harm in trying, right?
