Filipino-American actress Leslie-Anne Huff is the only Filipino actress featured in one of the world’s most popular TV series, The Vampire Diaries. The world-renowned TV series “The Vampire Diaries” is an American supernatural drama television series developed by Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec, the series premiered on The CW on September 10, 2009 and now on it’s seventh season.
The Fil-Am Actress Leslie-Anne Huff worked so many years in Hollywood before getting her big break in the popular TV series “The Vampire Diaries.” Playing a pivotal character in the hit show featuring a huge global fan base was a big break for the Fil-Am actress.
In an interview with ABS-CBN Balitang Amerika she was quoted as saying “I trained pretty vigorously when I got the part with the amazing stunt crew at The Vampire Diaries. They really trained me in all of the essentials for stunts on set but especially sword fighting,” she said.
Leslie-Anne Huff’s involvement in the popular TV series featured her with various fighting scenes with Hollywood star Ian Somerhalder and Raul Wesley. She noted that working with The Vampire Diaries team became easy for her because of the two stars.
“Paul and Ian are total jokesters. They are constantly joking and having a blast with all of us and the crew and the two of them have this funny, jokey rapport,” she said.
Huff started acting at an early age, and from the beginning, her parents encouraged her. The Fil-Am actress said that her mom, Herminia, is her biggest fan.
