VP Binay, the Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines revealed during an interview with the media that he will definitely win in Mindanao, which is considered as the bailiwick of Mayor Mayor Duterte. The Vice President expressed his confidence to the media that he can woo voters in one of the Philippines largest island.
According to VP Binay he is confident enough for a win in Mindanao against Mayor Rodrigo Duterte despite the fact that he is trailing right now in the survey results by Pulse Asia and published by ABS-CBN.
In an interview with the media in Marawi City the Vice President was quoted as saying “Basta’t mananalo kami ni Governor Salic,” he stated during an interview with the local media in Mindanao.
United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) spokespeson Rico Quicho said that VP Binay believes that reaching out directly to he people during campaigns can strengthen his core support particularly among the majority of poor Filipinos.
Vice President Jejomar Binay always stated on his various campaign sorties that the real survey will be conducted during the day of election on May 9, 2016. VP continued his usual strategy of campaigning in various parts of the Philippines particularly the far-flung areas and the countryside to sway the Filipino voters to support his candidacy.
According to the campaign team of VP Binay, he is set to campaing in the province of Sarangani and General Santos City with boxing icon Manny Pacquiao, one of the six exclusive members of his senatorial slate in the May 2016 national elections.
