The country’s top executive, President Benigno Aquino III posted his lowest net satisfaction rating since March 2015 wherein he got the “moderate” +11 during that survey. In the latest poll conducted by Social Weather Station (SWS) and published on BusinessWorld, President Aquino’s net satisfaction rating of “moderate” +27 during the first quarter of 2016.
According to the SWS survey released by BusinessWorld the survey was conducted from March 30 to April 2, President Aquino’s net satisfaction rating, which is the difference between satisfied and unsatisfied respondents. The satisfaction ratings of Pres. Aquino is five points below from the “good” +32 he got last December 2015.
SWS noted that the five-point dip in Pres. Aquino’s satisfaction rating was due to “declines of 23 points in Metro Manila, eight points in the Visayas, and one point in Mindanao, combined with a steady score in Balance Luzon.”
The poll body stated further that in terms of geographic areas, Pres. Aquino suffered a 23-point decline in Metro Manila to a “neutral” +0. Pres. Aquino recorded a “very good” +50 net satisfaction rating in Visayas, “good” +30 in Mindanao and “moderate” +23 in Balance Luzon.
Meanwhile, in terms of socioeconomic cl(–foul word(s) removed–), the president got a “moderate” +17 net satisfaction rating among respondents from cl(–foul word(s) removed–) ABC, “moderate” +25 among class D respondents and a “good” +36 among class E respondents.
The SWS and BusinessWorld conducted the net satisfaction survey ratings of Pres. Aquino had 1,500 respondents with sampling error margins of ±3 points for nationwide percentages and ±6 points each for Metro Manila, Luzon areas outside the National Capital Region (NCR), the Visayas and Mindanao.
SWS classifies net satisfaction ratings of at least +70 as “excellent”; +50 to +69 as “very good”; +30 to +49, “good”; +10 to +29, “moderate”; +9 to -9, “neutral”; -10 to -29, “poor”; -30 to -49, “bad”; -50 to -69, “very bad” and -70 and below as “execrable.
